Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms are between you and Lonely Orbit LLC ("we", "us"), the operator of the game Graveyard Orbit and its website. By signing up for or playing the alpha, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

2. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms for you.

3. This is an alpha

The Graveyard Orbit alpha is a free, unfinished test. It may have bugs, go offline, change or end at any time. We may reset or delete characters, items, currency and progress without notice or compensation. Nothing in the alpha has real-world monetary value, and you cannot buy, sell or trade in-game items for money.

4. Your account

Keep your login details private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account. One person, one account, unless we say otherwise.

5. How to behave

You agree not to:

• cheat, use bots, macros or hacks, exploit bugs for gain, or use unofficial clients that give an unfair edge;
• attack, probe or overload our servers, or try to access other players' accounts or data;
• harass, threaten or abuse other players, or post hateful, sexual, illegal or private information in chat or names;
• impersonate us or other players, or spam or advertise;
• copy, decompile, resell or scrape the game, its servers or its data, except as the law allows.

If you find a bug or security issue, please report it to us rather than abusing it.

6. Moderation

We may monitor chat and activity to keep the game fair and safe. We may warn, mute, suspend or remove accounts, and delete content, at our discretion.

7. Who owns what

The game, including its code, art, music, story, names and logos, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play the alpha for your own enjoyment. You get no other rights in the game. Some assets in the game come from third parties under licence, and you may not extract or reuse them.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create, such as chat messages and character names. You give us a free, worldwide licence to host, display and use that content to run and promote the game. You promise you have the right to post it.

9. Feedback

If you send us ideas, bug reports or feedback, we may use them freely without paying or crediting you.

10. Ending your access

You can stop playing at any time. We may suspend or end your access at any time, for any reason, including breaking these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers and liability, continue after your access ends.

11. No warranty

The alpha is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be error-free, secure, always available, or that your data will be kept. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

12. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Lonely Orbit LLC and its member will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost progress, items, data or profits, arising from your use of the alpha. Because the alpha is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by New York law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, New York, and you agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the game changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and by continuing to play after a change you accept the new Terms.
